It’s that time of year to break out the cookie sheets and support the Kairos cookie ministry.
Can we surpass the 50 dozen from last October?
Instructions are posted on the Coach House Outreach bulletin board.
Delivery is March 30.
If you have any questions, please contact Janice Marshall.
PS: Since most cookie recipes call for eggs, Janice is trying out egg substitutes and will let us know the results.
If you have a tried and true, let her know and she will pass it on.
The Episcopal Diocese of San Diego has a unique opportunity to extend hospitality and support to new Marine Corps recruits as they celebrate their graduation at MCRD. These graduations take place three times a month, each lasting about two hours—offering a perfect chance to connect, encourage, and welcome these young men and women into our community. If you have a heart for welcoming and supporting these recruits, we’d love for you to be part of this ministry!
To get involved, email Mrs. Valerie Goodpaster at goodvwg@gmail.com or speak to Cynde Durnford-Branecki. Please note that volunteers who do not have a military ID must pass a security check to be admitted onto the base and this may take 2-3 weeks.
