10:30 a.m. – Multi-Faith Procession to the Federal Building (880 Front St., San Diego)

11:15 a.m. – Prayer Vigil at the Federal Building

This is a powerful opportunity to proclaim our Christian commitment to justice, dignity, and compassion for all people—especially immigrants, the elderly, and the destitute in our communities. Clergy are invited to wear clericals or liturgical vestments. All participants are encouraged to wear red and bring palms or religious symbols. (No flags, please.)

God willing and the people consenting, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Susan Brown Snook will ordain Jacob Robling to the diaconate on Saturday, April 26, 2025, 11:00 a.m., at St. Paul’s Cathedral (2728 Sixth Ave, San Diego, CA 92103). All are welcome. A reception will follow the service.

LARK (Localized Anti-Racism Knowledge) is a unique workshop that explores the history, issues, and stories of racial justice in our own region. Unlike national anti-racism trainings, LARK is designed specifically for our diocesan context, focusing on local communities and their lived experiences. Through history-telling, case studies, and discussions, participants will gain deeper understanding and tools for meaningful engagement.

Join the Vida Joven Fiesta on Saturday, May 3 at 5:00 p.m., at Christ Episcopal Church, Coronado. Enjoy an evening of fellowship, delicious dinner, live mariachi music, raffles and silent auctions, and Vida Joven’s, Beth Beall, will share inspiring stories. The dinner is $25 and drinks tickets are $10. 

Towards A Fuller Gospel is a dynamic virtual speaker series highlighting the voices of racially diverse clergy as they illuminate scripture through the lens of their lived experiences, cultural perspectives, and/or the stories of the communities that formed them. Over the course of four weeks, faith leaders from across the Episcopal Church will model how race, identity, culture and community shape and expand the ways we understand and apply sacred texts today. this is an online event. 

There will be a memorial service on May 25. More details to follow.
